Thomson and Mann Music To Be Featured at the Duplex 12/1
Now Entering the Crossroads of Theatre presents the music of Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann on Wednesday, December 1st at 7PM at The Duplex (61 Christopher St.).
As a songwriting team, Jeff and Jordan received a 2008 Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation Grant, and were 2006-2007 Dramatis Guild Musical Theatre Writing Fellows. Their songs have been featured in the acclaimed "Songbook" series at Lincoln Center, The York Theatre Company's N.E.O Concert Series, and Scott Alan's Monday Night New Voices programs in Chicago and New York. Their original musical TRAILS (Book by Christy Hall) was featured in the Los Angeles Festival of New Musicals and was an invited selection for the 2010 NY Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). TRAILS won awards for excellent in writing music, lyrics and a best of fest audience favorite award, as well as the Stage Entertainment USA development award. VIRTUALLY ME, their musical for young audiences is currently touring the USA. Up coming projects include and adaptations of the films PUMP UP THE VOLUME and JAWBREAKER (bookwriter Darren Stein). www.thomsonandmann.com
Performers for the concert include Alicia Krakauer, Sam Heldt, Andrew Barbato, Alex Birnie, Lizzie Klemperer, Elyssa Mactas, Jeremy Morse, Travis Nunes and Caitlin Lee Reid.

We are a concert series dedicated to helping talented new artists meet and collaborate with the most promising emerging songwriters. We perform once a month here at The Duplex. Each concert exclusively features the work of a specific composer or lyricist and a rotating group of talented young performers headed by Alicia Krakauer and Sam Heldt . Following each concert is a networking event for guests to meet the performers and featured artist.
