TOMATOES GOT TALENT Takes Place Tonight at Stage 72/Triad

The "Tomatoes Got Talent" show will now take place tonight, February 10 at 7PM at Stage 72/Triad, 158 West 72nd St. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.thethreetomatoes.com/talentshow.html. (Show was originally scheduled for January 28)

Randie Levine-Miller is co-producing with Cheryl Benton of The Three Tomatoes, as well as hosting this year's talent competition featuring women over 40 who have segued to other careers.

According to Levine-Miller: "Some of our performers started out to be pros, but "life" took them in other directions. But now they're back.....and some of them are better than ever. Some of our "faux-pros" are as fabulous as current "pros" in the business."

This year, the judges are show business veterans:Tony Award nominated actress/singer, Beth Fowler (SAG Award for "Orange Is The New Black");TV and Theater Actress Margaret Colin,("Gossip Girls", "As The World Turns" "Jackie"); and Alyce Finell, co-director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation.(Photo attached). Guest performers from last year's finalists, Edna Kaufman and Karen Nason (2014 winner.). Paul Chamlin musical directs.

Among the talented performers vying for top prize -to appear in a professional revue with top Broadway and cabaret entertainers: The Folk Goddesses, "three snarky, middle-aged women on a mission", a copy writer, a postal deliverer, and a nursing home worker; Pat Tropea, an Executive Secretary for 37 years, now retired, whose heart was always to be a singer/dancer; Sarah Agasar an 85 year young jazz singer and after school day care teacher; Cathy Cavender was a magazine editor for 35 years and recently returned to her first love, singing; Ann Martin is a red cap/baggage handler for Amtrak and a jazz singer; Phyllis Mollen is an administrative assistant with a passion for singing; Jayne Magdalen Traver is an 8th grade English teacher; Susan Vardy has a PhD in clinical psychology, is a PTA president and loves singing; Angela Leone is a tech expert for the Social Security administration, and in the past 3 years as started to perform cabaret and jazz; Judith Graham (former Miss NY State in the Miss America pageant) is a teacher at FIT, makeup artist, author, and singer; Randee Mia Berman is a writer, humorist and radio show host, with a unique talent - talking backwards.
