THE COLOR PURPLE'S Antoine L. Smith to Host BAC Open Mic & Mingle

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents its tenth Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle hosted by Broadway Veteran Antoine L. Smith (THE COLOR PURPLE) on Monday, September 12th at 7pm (doors open at 6pm).

The evening will be kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros followed by selected "up and comers" at at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 W 42nd Street.

Performers and audience will be treated to an up close view of artists newest works, make invaluable connections and support our local communities. Signed show posters will be raffled and a donation will be made for CAT Youth Theatre who provide FREE theatre programming to inner city teens.

Broadway artists performing include: Paige Davis (BOEING-BOEING, CHICAGO & Emmy nominated host of Trading Spaces); Travis Ward-Osborne (HOLIDAY INN, ALADDIN); Jessica McRoberts (SPIDER-MAN; TURN OFF THE DARK, NINE, FOLLIES); Lisa Datz (THE FULL MONTY, TITANTIC); Larry Merritt (PIPPIN, original, ON THE TOWN, APPLAUSE, DEAR WORLD, GOLDEN RAINBOW, NOWHERE TO GO BUT UP, NO STRINGS); Amy Dolan-Fletcher (42ND STREET, GREASE) and Antoine L. Smith - host (THE COLOR PURPLE, MEMPHIS). Accompaniment by Brad Ross.

The Broadway Artists Connection is a nonprofit that brings together Broadway & aspiring artists to perform, connect and share their talents for the greater good.
