Seth Rudetsky, Carolee Carmello, Megan Hilty, Norm Lewis and More Set for BROADWAY'S GOT GUTS to Benefit CCFA
On Monday, November 2, 2015 at 6 PM at the Friars Club (57 East 55th Street, New York City), BROADWAY'S GOT GUTS will provide a spectacular evening of wonderful entertainment by Broadway's brightest, singing the wonderful standards and hits performed by the late, great Nancy LaMott on the 20th anniversary of her death, all to benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
Hosted by Seth Rudetsky with music direction by Tedd Firth, BROADWAY'S GOT GUTS is produced by David Friedman, Peter Yawitz, Marc Eliot, Toby Ellen Sarna and Barbara Kaynan.
Event chairs include Wendy & Dr. Robert Federman, Lenora & John Klein, Suzan & Hon. Jerry Kremer, Robin Modell, Marilyn Chinitz & Piero Pozzi and Randi Rahm.
Scheduled to perform are Carolee Carmello, Matt Doyle, Megan Hilty, Adam Kantor, Judy Kaye, Alix Korey, Norm Lewis, Karen Mason, Howard McGillin, Brad Oscar, and many others!
Honored at the event will be Max Federman, son of Broadway producer Wendy Federman ("Something Rotten," "The Gin Game," "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime," "Pippin") and Dr. Robert Federman.
Nancy LaMott (1951-1995) was one of the greatest singers of American Popular Standards. Her remarkable career was cut short when she died twenty years ago. At age seventeen, she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. At the height of her popularity Nancy performed at the most prestigious clubs in New York, and sang twice at the White House for President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. Her recordings are loved by thousands of fans around the world.
CROHN'S & COLITIS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The Greater New York chapter serves Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx funding research, raising awareness, and providing education and support to IBD patients and their families.
