STAGE TUBE: Barbra Streisand Urges Jewish Voters to Support President Obama

In a video posted today, the incomparable Barbra Streisand explains why she supports President Barack Obama in the upcoming Presidential election. "Mitt Romney does not share our values. I know Barack Obama does," the entertainer says in a Web video from the National Jewish Democratic Council. "In this good man, we have a president we can trust, a president whom I trust." Streisand is a long supporter of the President. The video was made in the hopes that it will sway Jewish voters to cast their ballot for the democratic candidate. In the past, Obama and Romney have had opposing views on U.S. relations with Israel and Iran's nuclear weapons development.

Streisand's stage credits include West End and Broadway productions of Funny Girl, Broadway's I Can Get it For You Wholesale, and Off-Broadway's Another Evening with Harry Stoones. She is also well known for her performance as Dolly in the movie version of Hello Dolly. She will soon be seen on screen in THE GUILT TRIP, set to hit theaters on December 25.
