Rory O'Malley/Gerold Schroeder are Engaged!

Rory O'Malley and his partner Gerold Schroeder are now engaged! The Book of Mormon actor shared the exciting news on his Facebook page Sunday, posting:

"Last night, the love of my life Gerold Schroeder asked me to marry him and I said yes. I never thought I'd be this excited for a lifetime of Mariah Carey and watching show choir. I am the luckiest man on earth. The O'Malley/Schroeder family parties are going to rock!"

O'Malley received both Tony and Drama Desk nominations for the role of openly closeted Mormon Elder McKinley. His other Broadway credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Off-Broadway and regional credits include Newsical, and the role of Richie Cunningham in Garry Marshall's Happy Days The Musical. He appeared in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls and has had guest roles on TV's Nurse Jackie, Law & Order- SVU and 1600 Penn.
