Patterson Brings SWEET OLD FASHIONED GIRL To Feinstein's 8/31

By:

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Summer 2010 season with the debut of Broadway's Meredith Patterson in her solo show, "Sweet Old Fashioned Girl" on Tuesday, August 31. For her show at Feinstein's she'll combine classics from the Great American Songbook with jazz standards and contemporary pop tunes including "For All We Know," "One Note Samba" and Madonna's hit "Burning Up". The show - featuring musical direction and arrangements by Emmy Award nominee Rob Berman, in addition to Ross Patterson on piano, Tom Hubbard on bass, Ron Affif on guitar, Tony Tedesco on drums - takes place at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Meredith Patterson recently starred as Gwen Greene in the new musical Radio Girl at Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theater. She made her soap opera debut as Francesca on ABC's "All My Children," was featured in the critically acclaimed documentary Every Little Step, and originated the role of Judy Haynes on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas. She made her hilarious primetime television debut as Missy Tiggs, opposite Tom Selleck and Candace Bergen on ABC's "Boston Legal," garnered glowing reviews as Polly Browne in The Boyfriend under the direction of the legendary Julie Andrews, and received critical acclaim in her Los Angeles theater debut starring in Steve Martin's play The Underpants. Ms. Patterson is best known in the theater world for her amazing life imitating art story of being plucked out of the chorus to star as Peggy Sawyer in her first Broadway musical, 2001's Tony Award winning revival of 42nd Street.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present Meredith Patterson on Tuesday, August 31 at 8:30 PM. The show has a $30.00 cover with $40.00 premium seats and an additional $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested, but not required. FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City.
