Acclaimed cabaret singer bids farewell to 2016 with her final NYC performance of the year.

French-Canadian songstress Myriam Phiro & Korean Jazz pianist Hyuna Park join forces for an unforgettable evening of classic Jazz at The Metropolitan Room. The evening will feature selected songs from Ms. Phiro's album, Voyages (Mac Awards nominee, Best Album, 2015), special arrangements written just for the occasion, storytelling, and more, all performed with the elegance, insight, and je ne sais quoi that have become Ms. Phiro's signatures.

Talkin' Broadway's Rob Lester has said of Ms. Phiro that, "The versatile young singer is a pro with a special sound. The talented mezzo mixes her potions well." After an exciting and eventful year of performing in venues throughout New York and Montreal, Ms. Phiro ends her 2016 residency at The Metropolitan Room with the November 17th concert, which will also include special guest appearances and excerpts from her debut show Piaf at 100.

Her recent performances include sold-out concerts at the world- famous Rainbow Room, 54 Below, the Iridium Jazz club, Club Bonafide & Metropolitan Room in NYC as well as at Montreal's International Jazz Festival & Montreux Jazz Festival. Her performing endeavors brought her to collaborate and share the stage with renowned artists such as Harry Connick Jr, Janis Siegel, Nicki Parrott, Marilyn Maye, Frank Vignola and Vince Giordano. Ms Phiro's performances feature a fresh take on jazz and French standards as well as the famous tunes of the Great American Songbook, all topped up with a delightful international flavor and a certain "joie de vivre". She recently completed a successful run of her tribute show celebrating her long-life inspiration Edith Piaf in a critically-acclaimed show, Piaf @ 100, and is now promoting her debut full- length Jazz album Voyages which received a nomination for a MAC Award in the "Best Album" category and her debut EP My Rêverie has been out since 2013.
