BRAINIAC LIVE! to Come to Belgrade Theatre Coventry With Science Experiments and Family Fun

Brainiac Live will visit the Belgrade Theatre on Saturday, June 20 as part of its UK tour ahead of a planned West End engagement.

The production recently won the 2025 Olivier Award for Best Family Show and is based on the original Brainiac television series, which first aired on Sky One. Since its stage debut in 2008, the live production has toured extensively throughout the UK and internationally, appearing at venues and festivals in Australia, Hong Kong, the Middle East, and Europe.

Designed for family audiences, Brainiac Live combines science demonstrations, audience interaction, and large-scale experiments. The production features demonstrations involving liquid nitrogen, vortex smoke rings, hydrogen balloon explosions, CO₂-powered spinning chairs, and other science-based effects.

The show has previously completed three West End summer seasons, a two-week engagement at the Sydney Opera House, and performances in cities including Brisbane, Edinburgh, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Barcelona, and Dubai. More recently, the production was presented in a dual-language English and Arabic version in Saudi Arabia.

Brainiac Live is produced by Dan Colman, with Andy Joyce serving as Creative Director and Damian Stanton as Designer. The production features a rotating company of presenters and performers.

Performances at the Belgrade Theatre are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on June 20.
