Following a sold-out show last March for the release of her new CD, All My Tomorrows, singer Angela Leone is reprising the event on Sunday, July 29 at 4 PM at Don't Tell Mama. The enthusiastic response to the album and her performance at the release party has prompted Leone to add a show for those who missed out the first time. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the 17-track CD, which contains such gold-standard Songbook classics as "Almost Like Being in Love," "I Thought Bout You" and "I've Got the World on a String."

Joining Leone are her music director, arranger and ace pianist, Bill Zeffiro, with Leone's go-to drummer, Chip Fabrizi (who also served as recording engineer on All My Tomorrows). Additionally, two guest musicians, tenor sax player Mitch Endick and accomplished bass player John Miller round out the quartet.

"I am very excited about this show!" Leone says. "It has a lot of extra meaning for me; it allows me to share a dream I have had since I was a young girl - to be able to stand on stage in front of a live audience with a live band and sing songs that I love from the Great American Songbook, in a style I can call my own."

Known for her melodic ease and cool, smooth, even tone (she's been called a female Tony Bennett), Leone is musically trained but relatively new to the cabaret scene. Proficient in reeds, especially the bass clarinet, she was awarded a music scholarship as an outstanding woodwind musician by the City of New York, becoming a member of the "All City Orchestra." Music continued to be a part of her life, with singing calling to her in 2012. She met Bill Zeffiro at the Singers Forum and began taking private lessons with him. In 2015 Leone had her first professional vocal performance with her trio at Tomi Jazz. Several cabaret shows followed at Don't Tell Mama in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, Leone was selected by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) as a nominee for the New York City Debut Singer award.

Angela Leone: All My Tomorrows, Sunday, July 29 at 4 PM at Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th St., NYC. There is a $15.00 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum per person, CASH ONLY. Reserve at: https://donttellmamanyc.com
