Roman Invastion! Legio 1 Terra Australis Make Italian Festival Carnevale Debut
Under the command of Terentius Petronius Grachus Scipio, several Roman Legion enthusiasts will invade Hamilton Boulevard and allow attendees to view various aspects of Ancient Roman life. The public Will B. Able to touch and feel Roman armour and equipment.
This compact legion will march around the Showground and photos can be taken with the group. As well, they will demonstrate examples of Ancient Roman drill and battle tactics such as the famous Testudo (tortoise) formation as well as others.
A must for Ancient Rome aficionados!
