Marissa Burgess, the longest serving star in the Moulin Rouge's 120-year history stars in the burlesque extravaganza, Cabaret de Paris at Her Majesty's Theatre for two performances only on Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September.

Australian-born and trained, Marissa is a legendary showgirl who became the toast of Paris with a string of accolades to her name and the subject of many French TV talk shows and US documentaries.

Marissa says 'Cabaret de Paris includes all the magic of a lavish French cabaret show with gorgeous dancers, beguiling music, and an array of international guest artists including aerialists, pole dancers, illusionists and of course the famous French cancan dancers!'

The fifteen member Cabaret de Paris cast features the crème de la crème of showgirls from around the world; dancers who have graced the stages of France's most famous cabaret revues.

The show's line-up includes award-winning comic acrobatic cyclist Justin Case; Angela and Cyriaque Kinkingnehun the dynamic former Adagio Couple from The Lido perform as Mysteriaque, combining magic illusions, acrobatic lifts and dance. (Angela trained at the Australian Ballet School, dancing her way through principal roles to Paris).

Acclaimed illusionist and Australia's Got Talent finalist Michael Boyd will perform some of the world's greatest illusions, mind-boggling disappearances and magic.

The show features more than a quarter of a million dollars worth of lavish costumes crafted in traditional Paris style with feathers, sequins, rhinestones and jewels (some covering barely anything).

Cabaret De Paris is choreographed by one of Australia's dance leaders, Adelaide-born Todd Patrick, who began his formidable career with Disney and then Versace, Dior, Issey Miyaki, Gucci and Chanel across Europe and Asia. As a dancer Todd worked internationally, one of the highlights being as the principal in The Lido in Paris.

Cabaret De Paris has already played to sell-out crowds in Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Sydney and promises to bring the elegance and glamour of Paris to Adelaide at Her Majesty's Theatre.
