Frontier Comedy Brings Shows From Five Incredible Comedians To The 2019 Adelaide Fringe

The 2019 Adelaide Fringe festival is up and running, and Frontier Comedy is proud to announce something for everyone, with very different shows from five incredible comedians.

Award-winning British comedian Jeff Green; social media superstars Alex Williamson and Neel Kolhatkar; Amos Gill on a brief break from his US comedy conquest; and multiple 2018 Adelaide Comedy Award-nominee James Donald Forbes McCann will bring their solid hours of laughs to Adelaide in February and March for Fringe.

AMOS GILL
ALMOST FAMOS

He traded brekky radio for a comedy career in LA and has just performed to a sold-out crowd at New York's Madison Square Garden, now Amos Gill is back for a festival stint before heading back to California to melt the minds of US comedy lovers!

With a gut-busting new hour of comedy every year, Amos has already made a name for himself in the States, where he is touted as a rising star.

He hosted hit107 brekky, is Jim Jefferies' favourite Aussie opening act and has done comedy on Just for Laughs' 'Australia: Live' filmed at the Sydney Opera House for the Comedy Channel, and ABC TV's 'All-Stars Gala'.

Writer, poet, playwright, political philosopher, rapper & comedian James is the creator of hit comedy musicals The Sound of Nazis and Wolf Creek: The Musical. Voted by his peers as Adelaide's best comedian in 2016 and 2017, and nominated for three Adelaide Comedy awards in 2018, James can be heard as the host of Hit 107's Weekend Breakfast.

LETTERS HOME

More than "just" award-winning UK comedian Jeff Green's trademark rapid-fire stand-up, Letters Home is a series of warm, funny monologues.

>From 1947-82, over a million '10 quid poms' moved to Australia in the Ten Pound Assisted Passage scheme. They kept in touch via requests to BBC Radio's 'Two-Way Family Favourites', and with most of the UK, each Sunday Jeff's family were glued to the radio. In homage to these souls and his own experience, Letters Home will be 10 'letters' to Jeff's family back home.

He celebrated his 30th year in stand-up last year, collecting accolades and selling out shows in the UK & Oz- don't miss this unique new show from one of Britain's most enduring, and endearing, comedy talents.

NEEL KOLHATKAR
LIVE

Stand-up comedy and social media phenom Neel Kolhatkar has been doing the rounds of comedy clubs and theatres across Australia and around the world since he won the Class Clowns competition at just fifteen years old. His accents, impressions, short films and carefully crafted jokes have seen him collect 1.2m+ followers and tens of millions of video views.

He's had a big year on TV with lead roles in Virgin Bush for ABC TV, Tahir's Street Smarts, and Skit Happens for Network Ten's Pilot Week, and now Neel returns to Fringe - fresh from filming his third stand-up special, with his sixth live solo show.
