Adelaide Festival Seeking Artistic Director for 2017-2019

Adelaide Festival of Arts is one of the world's great cultural events and the pre-eminent arts festival in Australia.

A large-scale multi-arts event of exceptional richness and diversity, the festival has a strong tradition of innovation showcasing music, theatre, dance, new media, literature and the visual arts from across Australia and around the world.

The Adelaide Festival Board is seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspired Artistic Director for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 festivals. This is a high-profile leadership position in the arts and culture sectors and a significant opportunity for artistic leaders and managers with considerable experience and standing.

Critical to the position is artistic curatorial leadership, an ability to articulate and communicate a unique and distinctive vision, an understanding and appreciation of the nature of the Festival and its audiences, high-level management and team building skills, and demonstrated capabilities in advocacy and representation to a diverse range of stakeholders.
