A Storyteller Finds Herself In The Adelaide Fringe Original Cabaret show Finding Me will have it's World Premiere on February 27th at Raj House and performer and co-writer of the show Phi Theodoros finds herself performing during the Adelaide Fringe for the first time in eight years.

Theodoros and her collaborator James Dean, who last worked together on show Depression the Musical in 2013-2014, are excited to premiere this new work that similarly opens up conversations through stories and song. This time the focus of is about identity, self love and acceptance.

"This show explores four unique characters and their journey towards self acceptance." says Theodoros,

"The format brings the characters together at the 'Rainbow Happiness Support Group' where they share their stories to inspire their fellow group members (the audience) better understand and accept people who come from walks of life that may differ from their own."

Joel Allan, General Manager of Raj House, is excited to host the world premiere,

"The shows we've curated at Raj House all feature themes of identity so when Phi approached us with "Finding Me" it was a perfect match." Says Allan,

"Raj House is the home of the Feast Festival so we're proud to feature works that showcase and celebrate stories from the LGBTIQ community, "Finding Me" is one show that should be on your Fringe List and with one show only I say book now!"

Theodoros, who works as a Resident Artist in the community sector, has produced and project managed many Fringe shows events and multi-platform exhibitions over the past 5 years since launching her business StoryTeller: Multimedia & Events. She also has a number of performance credits in her CV including shows with in 2010 Anya Anastasia and Ink Pot Arts in 2006 where she performed at unique venues such as the Adelaide Zoo and the Port Adelaide Railway Museum. She was also a key event producer behind "Bonus Cartwheel Day" a mini festival held in the Parklands that celebrated the unique specialness and creativity of all of us. 2018 marks her return to the stage since 2014 and return to the Adelaide Fringe stage since 2010.

Cabaret is her chosen medium and Theodoros is passionate about showcasing stories inspired by real experiences, Finding Me is a show that does just that. Join Theodoros and Dean at the Finding Me 'support group' on Tuesday the 27th of February for one night only at 7pm before the duo takes the show on a regional tour to Port Lincoln.
