In January of 2009, the new music world lost one of its greatest champions. The late philanthropist, photographer and writer Betty Freeman was without question the most significant American advocate for contemporary classical music in the second half of the 20th century. In her will, Ms. Freeman requested that no funeral be held, but instead a party be thrown in her memory. REDCAT is delighted to honor Ms. Freeman's request with Party for Betty!, a celebration of the life, work and legacy of Betty Freeman held at the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 8:30 pm.

MTV's 'The Real World: D.C.' says farewell to the nation's capital when its final episode airs on Wednesday, March 31 at 10pm ET/PT. This season, eight young adults took on Washington. For each, the experience was eye opening in a different way. For all, it was life-changing. Josh found a band, Mike found his voice, Callie found her art, and Andrew found love. In the finale, the roommates come together as they celebrate an art exhibition honoring D.C created by Callie, Andrew, and Emily. Mike also receives the support of his roommates when they accompany him on a march for The Human Rights Campaign.

TV Guide Teams Up with Larry David to Launch 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Exclusive Extras

TV Guide Network today announced that it has teamed-up with Larry David (Co-Creator, 'Seinfeld'), renowned creator and star of the highly acclaimed HBO comedy series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' to launch exclusive, never-before-seen extras that will air in conjunction with the series run on the network starting this summer. 'Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Discussion' will be hosted by comedienne and series regular Susie Essman (Susie Greene) and will feature a panel of high profile guest stars, media pundits and prominent social figures who will debate moral implications featured in each episode. 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' will make its basic cable debut on TV Guide Network on Wednesday, June 2 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The filming of the Ralph Fiennes helmed 'Coriolanus' will begin next week in Serbia, according to a number of published reports. Vanessa Redgrave will star alongside Fiennes as Volumnia, Coriolanus' mother. The project has been in a standstill for quite some time until producers were finally gathered and a cast put together. Fiennes will direct as well as play the title role in the adaptation by John Logan.

Gareth Hale will play Scrooge in Susie McKenna and Steve Edis' adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, which is to open in the newly refurbished Arts Theatre in November this year. A Christmas Carol, produced by Tiny Tim Productions, will preview from 11 November, with the press performance on 25 November, and is booking until 10 January 2010.

Directed by DELICIA TURNER SONNENBERG, this rousing drama recounts the story of four lifelong friends who get together on Christmas Eve and end up making a bet with the devil in disguise. Performances begin in previews on Saturday, November 14, 2009, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, November 20 at 8pm and continue through December 13, 2009 at The Lyceum Theatre.
