A dynamic lineup of stars - including a U.S. veteran, an NBA champion, a film and TV star, a TV host and journalist, a Grammy-nominated singer, a supermodel, a reality TV star, a showbiz legacy and activist, and a World Cup star -- will take the stage for the two-hour season premiere of 'Dancing with the Stars,' MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
NBC's top-rated summer series 'America's Got Talent' today announced a wide spectrum of popular guest musical and variety acts and exclusive performances that will appear on the show leading up to the live finale on September 14 (8-10 p.m. ET).
Our first guest is Gavin Creel, a two time Tony nominee for HAIR and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Creel was also seen in the 2004 Broadway Revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, The Goodman Theatre/Kennedy Center production of BOUNCE, as well as HAIR and MARY POPPINS on the West End.
In addition to his work in the theatre, Creel has built up a loyal fan base playing his original music to sold-out crowds across the country and at such New York hot spots as Irving Plaza, Joe's Pub, Symphony Space and Arlene's Grocery. His debut pop album "GOODTIMENATION," and intimate follow-up EP, "Quiet," were both written and recorded with long time collaborator, Robbie Roth. Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza, in association with Tony Fusco and Larry Feinman, and by special arrangement with/and based on the Vereinigte Buhnen Wien GmbH production, announced that the new musical REBECCA, based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 22 at a Shubert theater to be announced. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 27. Sierra Boggess (currently starring in Master Class, The Little Mermaid, Love Never Dies) is in negotiations to play the role of 'I.'

NJPAC, which will be hosting an upcoming touring production of A CHORUS LINE, is hoping to break a Guinness record by amassing 1,629 chorus dancers at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ this Saturday. The current record for Guinness' 'World's Largest Chorus Line' was set in 2004 and consisted of 1,628 dancers.
Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell has been announced as the director/choreographer of the Hollywood Bowl's production of HAIRSPRAY, the 2003 winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, in addition to holding the record as the 20th longest running show in Broadway history. Lon Hoyt has been announced as the musical director of the production. Mitchell was the original choreographer of Hairspray on Broadway, and Hoyt was the original musical director of the Broadway production.
According to the NY Times, Panic! at the Disco could be the newest band to bring their music to the Great White Way. Drummer Spencer Smith commented on the prospect: 'That would be amazing. To put together a show that was a mix of our music as well as maybe tell a story ... that would be like a dream,' he continued.

Grammy winner Rihanna proved once again that she is an extraordinary live performer after delivering two of the most captivating performances at Sunday night's Grammy Awards telecast with fellow nominees Drake and Eminem. Rihanna today announced that the incomparable Atlanta singer, songwriter, rapper and fellow show stealing performer Cee Lo Green will join her on the highly anticipated LOUD summer tour. The tour, produced by Live Nation, is scheduled to begin on June 4th in Baltimore.
Ten additional dates have been announced for a total of 17 confirmed dates for the North American leg of the LOUD tour thus far.
