Creel was also seen in the 2004 Broadway Revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, The Goodman Theatre/Kennedy Center production of BOUNCE, as well as HAIR and MARY POPPINS on the West End. In addition to his work in the theatre, Creel has built up a loyal fan base playing his original music to sold-out crowds across the country and at such New York hot spots as Irving Plaza, Joe's Pub, Symphony Space and Arlene's Grocery. His debut pop album "GOODTIMENATION," and intimate follow-up EP, "Quiet," were both written and recorded with long time collaborator, Robbie Roth. Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza, in association with Tony Fusco and Larry Feinman, and by special arrangement with/and based on the Vereinigte Buhnen Wien GmbH production, announced that the new musical REBECCA, based on the classic novel by Daphne du Maurier novel, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 22 at a Shubert theater to be announced. Previews will begin Tuesday, March 27. Sierra Boggess (currently starring in Master Class, The Little Mermaid, Love Never Dies) is in negotiations to play the role of 'I.'

NJPAC Attempts to Break Guinness World Record for 'Largest Chorus Line'

NJPAC, which will be hosting an upcoming touring production of A CHORUS LINE, is hoping to break a Guinness record by amassing 1,629 chorus dancers at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack, NJ this Saturday. The current record for Guinness' 'World's Largest Chorus Line' was set in 2004 and consisted of 1,628 dancers.

Jerry Mitchell to Direct/Choreograph HAIRSPRAY at the Hollywood Bowl

Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell has been announced as the director/choreographer of the Hollywood Bowl's production of HAIRSPRAY, the 2003 winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, in addition to holding the record as the 20th longest running show in Broadway history. Lon Hoyt has been announced as the musical director of the production. Mitchell was the original choreographer of Hairspray on Broadway, and Hoyt was the original musical director of the Broadway production.

According to the NY Times, Panic! at the Disco could be the newest band to bring their music to the Great White Way. Drummer Spencer Smith commented on the prospect: 'That would be amazing.
