The New Group presents Russian Transport, written by Erika Sheffer, in a world premiere limited engagement January 17 - March 10, 2012. Directed by Scott Elliott, the production features Janeane Garofalo, Daniel Oreskes, Morgan Spector, Sarah Steele and Raviv Ullman. Official Opening Night is Monday, January 30 at The New Group @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that Julie Halston (The Divine Sister) will assume the role of "Evangeline Harcourt" on Tuesday, January 17th & Robert Petkoff (Ragtime) will assume the role of "Lord Evelyn Oakleigh" on Friday, January 13th.

Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, organizers of Times Square New Year's Eve, today announced that there are 19 days left for the public to submit their New Year's Eve wishes at the Times Square Visitor Center, located on Seventh Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets, or online at www.TimesSquareNYC.org. Wishes collected at the Center and online will become part of the confetti that flutters down at midnight in Times Square on New Year's Eve 2012. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced that Tony® and Academy® Award winner Joel Grey will continue to play "Moonface Martin" through April 29th, 2012 with 2011 Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as "Reno Sweeney." Anything Goes is directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall.

The 2012 Grammy nominations were announced earlier tonight in an hourlong concert on CBS, and the nominees for 'Best Musical Theater Album' were THE BOOK OF MORMON, ANYTHING GOES, and HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING.

Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel have just announced the design team for the upcoming Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN. Tony and Drama Desk Award winning scenic designer DEREK McLANE (33 Variations, Anything Goes), Tony and Drama Desk Award winning lighting designer KENNETH POSNER (The Coast of Utopia, Part 2 - Shipwreck) and five-time Tony Award nominated costume designer ANN ROTH (The Book of Mormon) will design the play about power, ambition, political secrets, ruthlessness and the race for the presidency.

Stephanie J. Block, who has been filling in for Sutton Foster in ANYTHING GOES, has officially departed the production. Foster, who was filming the television pilot, Bunheads for the past 3 weeks, returned as Reno Sweeney on November 25.

Continuing the tradition of preserving and celebrating great recordings, The Recording Academy has announced the newest additions to its GRAMMY Hall Of Fame, adding 25 recordings to a collection that now totals 906 titles. The collection is on display at the GRAMMY Museum.
