The Open Fist Theatre Company presents the third show in their 2010 season, a new adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's classic THE GOOD WOMAN OF SETZUAN, translated by Eric Bentley with original music by Elizabeth Swados (Runaways), musical direction by Dean Mora and directed by Charles Otte (The Devil with Boobs).

On Thursday, May 20 the city of Louisville will be inspired by a moment of its own history with the world premiere of Owsley Brown III's documentary film, Music Makes a City. The timely tale follows two visionaries, Mayor Charles Farnsley and Louisville Orchestra's first Music Director, Robert Whitney as they faced the odds making Louisville, Kentucky and its orchestra world renowned for new music.

Jacob's Pillow Dance, National Historic Landmark and home of America's longest-running international dance festival, kicks off Festival 2010 with the prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili. The Festival runs Wednesday, June 23 through Saturday, June 26 at 8pm; Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 at 2pm. Tickets range from $10-63. $10 Friday evening and Saturday/Sunday matinee youth tickets available. The Centenary of Alwin Nikolais's birth is being celebrated in 10 cities world-wide with New York engagements at Nikolais's original artistic home, the Henry Street Playhouse (now the Abrons Arts Center), May 1 and 2, and at The Joyce Theater, May 4-9. The spectacular double season of revivals, some dating back to 1953, will be performed by the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, the repository of the Nikolais Dance Theatre repertory. The Company's performances of Nikolais's dances are directed by Alberto Del Saz and Murray Louis.

Producer Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group and co-producers Tulchin/Bartner/Jenkins, Bill Kenwright, Northwater Entertainment, Darren Bagert, and Tom Gregory announced the complete cast and design team for the new Broadway production of the greatest musical comedy GUYS AND DOLLS. The first joint Broadway project by two-time Tony Award winning director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo since their collaboration on the Tony Award winning musical Jersey Boys, GUYS AND DOLLS will begin previews on February 3, 2009 at Broadway's newly refurbished Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Opening Night is March 1, 2009.
