The Open Fist Theatre Company presents the third show in their 2010 season, a new adaptation of Bertolt Brecht's classic THE GOOD WOMAN OF SETZUAN, translated by Eric Bentley with original music by Elizabeth Swados (Runaways), musical direction by Dean Mora and directed by Charles Otte (The Devil with Boobs).

The timely tale follows two visionaries, Mayor Charles Farnsley and Louisville Orchestra's first Music Director, Robert Whitney as they faced the odds making Louisville, Kentucky and its orchestra world renowned for new music.

The spectacular double season of revivals, some dating back to 1953, will be performed by the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, the repository of the Nikolais Dance Theatre repertory. The first joint Broadway project by two-time Tony Award winning director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo since their collaboration on the Tony Award winning musical Jersey Boys, GUYS AND DOLLS will begin previews on February 3, 2009 at Broadway's newly refurbished Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Opening Night is March 1, 2009.
