Antaeus Double Casts YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU

Find out who's really crazy when a couple of lovebirds bring their mismatched families together. The Antaeus Company, L.A.'s multiple award-winning classical theater company, presents You Can't Take It With You, the timeless comedy about love, life and living by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Gigi Bermingham directs the fully double cast production Oct. 18 through Dec. 9, with low-priced previews beginning Oct. 11.

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Charles Dillingham, interim Executive Director) announced that the opening night celebration for LINCOLN - AN AMERICAN STORY will also honor Playhouse Board Member Lilah Stangeland and her late husband Roger Stangeland with a portrait unveiling at The Pasadena Playhouse Makineni Library. The portrait was commissioned by artist Kenton Nelson and painted by emerging local artist Liz Walworth. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m., prior to the opening night performance of LINCOLN - AN AMERICAN STORY on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awardees Announced

Two-time Tony Award nominated costume designer Carrie Robbins, and scenic, lighting, costume designer and educator Lloyd Burlingame are among the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 4, at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Ms. Robbins was selected to receive the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Mr. Burlingame will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.
