92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, will continue his popular multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, 'Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth' with Golden Globe Award-winning stage and screen star Angela Bassett. Roth and Bassett will discuss her upcoming role opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the Broadway premiere of Katori Hall's The Mountaintop, as well as her remarkable career on the silver screen, at 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street) on Sunday, October 23rd at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $29 and are available at www.92Y.org/BroadwayTalks or by calling 212.415.5500.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) announced today that producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, will be honored for their work in bringing musical theatre to a worldwide, pop-culture audience at the Eighth Annual Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 6th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm. Neil and Craig are currently represented on Broadway with How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying are currently producing the new NBC television drama 'SMASH' about the behind-the-scenes creation of a Broadway musical. 'SMASH' premieres on NBC on February 6th.

According to Deadline.com, NBC has just picked up a still untitled Western series that's being produced by stage and screen star Sean Hayes. Written by Kerry Ehrin, the project is about 'Jacob Morris, a young, eccentric East Coast doctor of mental disorders who moves to a primitive Western town at the foot of the Colorado Rockies. There he immediately stands out as he doesn't fight with a gun but rather uses new theories that are being practiced in the East.'

TV Land Begins Production on HOT IN CLEVELAND Season 3

TV Land announced today that the network's hit original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' begins production on its third season this week. The series, which stars veteran sitcom actresses Valerie Bertinelli ('One Day At A Time'), Jane Leeves ('Frasier'), Wendie Malick ('Just Shoot Me') and Betty White ('Golden Girls'), was just awarded a Creative Arts Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Art Direction For A Multi-Camera Series (Michael Andrew Hynes and Maralee Zediker). Betty White was also recently nominated for an Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the sitcom. 'Hot in Cleveland' will have its season three premiere on Wednesday, November 30th at 10PM ET/PT, immediately followed by the series premiere of TV Land's newest original sitcom, 'The Exes.'
