Urbanworld Film Festival announced today that critically-acclaimed filmmaker Ava DuVernay and one of Hollywood's most sought after actors, David Oyelowo, will serve as the ambassadors for Urbanworld Film Festival's 20 th anniversary.

The Original Theatre Company and Salisbury Playhouse in association with Eastbourne Theatres will present the national tour of Emlyn Williams's psychological thriller, NIGHT MUST FALL, directed by Luke Sheppard and starring Gwen Taylor as Mrs Bramson, Daragh O'Malley as Inspector Belsize, Niamh McGrady as Olivia and Will Featherstone as Dan. The tour will begin at Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne on 19 August, with a National press night on Wednesday 7 September at Salisbury Playhouse.

The National Youth Theatre (NYT) have announced that the UK's leading casting resource, Spotlight, is to sponsor industry performances for their REP cast in the West End this autumn.

Founded in 1956 the NYT is the pioneering force for youth theatre around the world and is recognised as the leading provider of free alternatives to formal theatre training, with alumni including Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Chiwetel Ejiofor CBE and Sir Daniel Day Lewis. Since being founded the world's leading youth arts charity has nurtured the talent of over 100,000 young people.
