It doesn't sound like theatrical gold, but in Lucy Kirkwood's deft hands, an unassuming premise becomes transformed by a quiet dramatic alchemy. The Children isn't a play that shouts, but it's one whose whispers carry far and linger even longer - a warm, funny and devastating portrait of the end of the world as we know it.

With design by Miriam Buether and lighting design by Peter Mumford. "At our time of life, we simply cannot deal with this shit."

Director Jamie Lloyd has assembled a powerhouse trio of actors, including double Emmy Award-winning Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Zawe Ashton (Fresh Meat) and Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey), to tackle this explosive psycho-drama. Kit Harington will return to the London stage to play the title role in an anarchic production of Doctor Faustus at the Duke of York's Theatre, London, from 9th April 2016. Directed by Jamie Lloyd, Christopher Marlowe's masterwork, with two acts by Colin Teevan, will preview from Monday 9th April 2016, booking until Saturday 4th June.

The Ruling Class starring James McAvoy sees Peter Barnes' production being revived by Jamie Lloyd for the first time since it played the West End in 1969. Peter O'Toole starred in the 1972 film version, but Barnes' black-comedy from 1968 has once again been brought to the London theatre scene by Lloyd as the crux of the story is still relevant today and is being performed as part of his ongoing Trafalgar Transformed season at the Trafalgar Studios.
