The cast has been announced for Simon Stephens' new play Birdland at the Royal Court Theatre in London (3 April to 31 May - press night 9 April), which looks at fame, money and an out-of-control front man. The full cast is Nikki Amuka-Bird, Daniel Cerqueira, Yolanda Kettle, Alex Price, Charlotte Randle and Andrew Scott.

Sienna Guillory (Resident Evil, Inkheart, Love Actually, Eragon) has been cast to play Luther's new love interest in third installment of Neil Cross's critically-acclaimed Dramaville mini-series, Luther, which started filming last week. Luther (4 x 60), set to premiere in 2013 on BBC AMERICA, is a BBC and BBC AMERICA co-production distributed by BBC Worldwide.

The National Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming productions, starting with Moira Buffini's WELCOME TO THEBES which will run starting June 15. Nikki Amuka-Bird and David Harewood will star in the World Premiere of the play, which tells the Greek myth of the first democratically elected president of Thebes in a modernized way. The show will be directed by Richard Eyre and the cast will also feature Madeline Appiah, Rakie Ayola, Omar Brown, Jessie Burton, Jacqueline Defferary, Daniel Fine, Karlina Grace, Rene Gray, Tracy Ifeachor, Irma Inniss, Chuk Iwuji, Alexia Khadime, Ferdinand Kingsley, Aicha Kossoko, Simon Manyonda, Bruce Myers, Pamela Nomvete, Calre Perkins, Victor Power, Daniel Poyser, Joy Richardson, Vinette Robinson, Zara Tempest-Walters, and Michael Wildman.

Tricycle Theatre Casts 'Doubt' West End Premiere

Nicolas Kent, the Tricycle Theatre's Artistic Director, will direct Dearbhla Molloy as Sister Aloysius, Nikki Amuka-Bird as Mrs Muller, Padraic Delaney as Father Flynn and Marcella Plunkett as Sister James in the British premiere of John Patrick Shanley's Doubt. Doubt will run from November 22 - January 12, 2008.
