Sardines. Slamming doors. Relationships budding (and burning) before your eyes. A farce within a farce. And laughter, so much laughter. Take all of this and mix it together and you get Michael Frayn's masterpiece of a comedy NOISES OFF, which is currently playing as the Connecticut Repertory Theatre's (CRT) second production of their Summer Nutmeg Series.
CRT Partners with UConn's Center for Student with Disabilities to Provide Sign Language Interpretation

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) announces that each show of its 2017 Nutmeg Summer Series, 1776, Noises Off, and Disney's Newsies, will have performances interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL) through a partnership with the University of Connecticut Interpreting Services (UCIS), a division of the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD). ASL interpreted performances will take place during the Saturday matinee performances on June 10 (1776), June 24 (Noises Off), and July 15th (Disney's Newsies).
Berkeley Rep: HAND TO GOD Extended

Due to overwhelming positive responses from critics and audiences alike, Berkeley Rep has announced that Hand to God, written by Robert Askins and directed by David Ivers, will extend for an additional week. Originally scheduled to close on March 19, the critically acclaimed play will run through Sunday, March 26.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the West Coast premiere of Hand to God written by Robert Askins and directed by David Ivers. The Broadway smash hit and Tony Award-nominated play begins previews on Friday, February 3, and the show runs through Sunday, March 19. Milwaukee Repertory Theater announces casting for the World Premiere adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Previously announced Milwaukee Rep favorite Jonathan Wainwright (Of Mice of Men, A Christmas Carolas Mr. Cratchit), will make his debut as Scrooge becoming the 12th actor in Milwaukee Rep history to portray one of Dicken's most recognizable characters. He'll be joined by many familiar faces including Associate Artist Jonathan Gillard Daly (Man of La Mancha, Of Mice and Men) as Mr. Fezziwig, Michael Doherty (Ragtime) as Fred, Associate Artist Angela Iannone as Mrs. Fezziwig, Chike Johnson (Of Mice and Men) as Ghost of Christmas Present, Associate Artist Reese Madigan (Five Presidents) as Bob Cratchit, Associate Artist Jonathan Smoots (A Christmas Carol) as Marley, Malkia Stampley(Dreamgirls) as Mrs. Cratchit and Associate Artist Deborah Staples (Harvey, The Amish Project) as Ghost of Christmas Past. Connecticut Repertory Theatre Artistic Director to Step Down

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) has announced that Vincent J. Cardinal, Connecticut Repertory Theatre Artistic Director and Head of the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of Connecticut will step down from his position at the end of July. Cardinal, who is departing at the conclusion of the popular 2016 Nutmeg Summer Series, will become the Arthur and Martha Hearron Endowed Professor of Musical Theatre, Chair of the Department of Musical Theatre and Professor of Music, School of Music Theatre and Dance at the University of Michigan.
