The 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC presents THE SCREENWRITER DIES OF HIS OWN FREE WILL, a new metafictional comedy on the art of the deal by FringeNYC veteran Jim Shankman. Craig J. George directs a cast of two including Jim Shankman* (Winner, Best Actor - United Solo 2013) and Steven Mark Friedman*. Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its most ambitious project to date - this autumn the Rose stage will be transformed into a battlefield for The Wars of the Roses, a gripping adaptation of four of Shakespeare's history plays, directed by Trevor Nunn. The productions will play in rep from 16 September until 31 October, with press performances for all three plays on 3 October.

Due to continued demand for tickets, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park has added a second extension to its popular production of TENDERLY: THE ROSEMARY CLOONEY MUSICAL, which celebrates Cincinnati's legendary 'girl singer.' The show, originally set to close on Dec. 28 and then extended through Jan. 4, now will run through Jan. 11, 2015.
