Ravinia Festival celebrates the 75th birthday of Chicago jazz great Ramsey Lewis with a night of jazz stars at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 18, including a double bill of songstress Nancy Wilson with the Ramsey Lewis Trio and the Dave Brubeck Quartet.

Steve Martin, the multi-talented Grammy and Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian who has recently reached new pinnacles as a musician, will perform 'An Evening of Bluegrass and Banjo' with the Steep Canyon Rangers at Hennepin Theatre Trust's State Theatre, Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 7 p.m. His first bluegrass album, 'The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Bango,' was released in May 2009 by Rounder Records, where it stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album chart for 12 weeks. 'The Crow' was also awarded the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album (Vocal or Instrumental) in January 2010.

Ravinia Festival's 2010 season opens offering up great variety and more than 50 artist debuts beginning on opening night at 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, with pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii in the Martin Theatre. Blind since birth and a 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition gold-medal winner, 22-year-old Tsujii will present works by Chopin, Schuman and Lizst as well as Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Ravinia's 2010 One Score, One Chicago selection. Inspired by the Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago, Ravinia's One Score promotes the enjoyment of classical music and creates a cultural touchstone to enable people at different levels of understanding classical music to engage in community-wide discussion of a single masterwork.

Washington D.C.-based ensemble Elikeh will be releasing their new album Adje! Adje! (Azalea City Recordings) on May 27, 2010.

Jeremy McQueen, a professional dancer and choreographer currently on tour with Wicked, will be conducting several youth workshops in schools and community centers around Louisville as a part of his residency at The Kentucky Center this month.

The 185th Annual: An Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary American Art will feature 65 emerging and established artists selected by a jury of National Academicians.

The 2nd North American tour of the worldwide smash WICKED will land at the Tulsa Chapman Music Hall from July 15-August 9, 2009.
