The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs Gershwin: Music of the Jazz Age on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center.

59E59 Theaters has announced the lineup of shows for the 2016/2017 5A Season. Artistic Director Grant Gershon and President & CEO Jean Davidson announce the 2016-17 season of the Los Angeles Master Chorale (LAMC), one of the world's foremost professional choruses noted for its adventurous programming and artistic excellence, at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Under the artistic leadership of Gershon, the choir's 53rd season includes an ambitious blend of choral masterworks, engaging premieres, a cappella offerings and collaborations with some of today's leading artistic visionaries to create immersive musical experiences. The programming embraces the LA Master Chorale's distinguished history, while building upon its legacy of expanding the choral repertoire by commissioning new works and championing rising and established composers.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale's 2016 gala celebration, "Broadway on Grand," transports the show-stopping music, dazzling allure and thrilling excitement of 42nd Street to Walt Disney Concert Hall with an exclusive private concert featuring unforgettable songs from American musical theatre, as well as a glamorous cocktail reception in Disney Hall's dramatic lobby and sumptuous post-performance dinner by Patina in BP Hall, on Saturday, March 19, 2016, 6 pm, at the landmark venue in downtown Los Angeles.  For the celebration, Artistic Director Grant Gershon conducts the Grammy-nominated chorus in a program of music by such legendary composers as Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter, with special guest composer/performer Jason Robert Brown, the three-time Tony Award-winning composer of such acclaimed Broadway shows as Parade, The Last Five Years, and The Bridges of Madison County.

This Tuesday in New York City, Circus Road Films and Theatricals & Big Head Productions will present an invite-only reading of a new play The Poets of Amityville by Eugene Pack.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-Most have announced details of the Orchestra's 2016-17 season. The year marks the Orchestra's 99th season and the 15th season of the acclaimed partnership with its Music Director. Recent praise of the Orchestra under the artistic leadership of Franz Welser-Most includes The New York Times calling the ensemble "…American's most brilliant orchestra," and The Wall Street Journal stating that the Orchestra is "…magnificent."

The extraordinary performing artist Hershey Felder will make his debut at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts with his critically-acclaimed production of Hershey Felder as Leonard Bernstein in MAESTRO for a special Los Angeles engagement from August 10 - 28, 2016. Directed by Joel Zwick, MAESTRO features only 22 performances prior to transferring to New York in fall of 2016. MAESTRO bows at The Wallis on August 10 with a special Opening Night Celebration. Music director Manfred Honeck leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, guest vocalists and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh in a BNY Mellon Grand Classics program featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra premiere of Bach's St. John Passion oratorio tonight, March 4, and March 6 at Heinz Hall.
