The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America, celebrates its 15th anniversary with THE FringeBENEFITS SERIES.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to announce two very special performances of a brand new venture, SIMPLY STREISAND, a celebration of Ms. Barbra Streisand, her legendary career and the music she made famous. SIMPLY STREISAND will take place for two very special performances only, Wednesdays, August 10 and 24 @ 7pm. The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within The West Bank Cafe, 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's theatre district. Singing OnStage Productions will present Side By Side By Sondheim, a fundraiser launching the company's inaugural season of shows. Artistic Director Richard Biever will direct a cast of three, including Sally Wilfert* (B'way: Assassins, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer) Kate Wetherhead* (Legally Blonde, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) with the third cast member to be determined.

Elena Shaddow, Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie and Clyde), Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon) and more will sing the songs of composer-lyricist Caleb Hoyer Monday, August 8 at 7PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre.

After opening Whistling Away The Dark last year at Feinstein's, singer/actress Shana Farr (www.shanafarr.com) is now bringing it back for a summer run at The Metropolitan Room.

Artistic Director and Founder Richard Biever is pleased to announce the creation of Singing OnStage Productions, a new musical theatre production company dedicated to developing new writers, performers and musicians as well as presenting original and neglected musical theatre productions. 4-week Audition and Showcase Classes begin September 12, 2011, followed by a unique Music Director Training Program, September 16-18. The company's premiere theatrical production will be a fundraiser, 'Side By Side By Sondheim,' to be held at the Laurie Beechman Theatre September 13 & 15.
