Music icons Neil Diamond, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Alice Cooper, as well as Broadway veteran Darlene Love, will be the new inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for 2011. They will be honored at a ceremony at Manhattan's Waldorf-Astoria on Monday, March 14. Leon Russell will also be awarded for musical excellence. Nonperformer honors will go to Specialty label's Art Rupe and Elektra Records founder, Jac Holzman.

Yesterday, February 15, Yellow Sound Label released the debut CD of acclaimed Broadway's Christopher Jackson on iTunes, Amazon.com and other online outlets. The album hits stores on March 19. In the Name of Love is a new album of soulful and melodic contemporary R&B written and co-produced by Jackson. In honor of the online release yesterday, Jackson was joined by Lin-Manuel Miranda and other In The Heights alum at The Canal Room for a special concert.
He was also joined by special guests Arthur and the Geniuses. Jackson co-produced the album with Michael Murphy, Bill Sherman and Michael Croiter.

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Guy Torry takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Larry Brown and Lachlan Patterson. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating, an Improv t-shirt and post-show meet-and-greet with the comics. The Hollywood Foreign Press has been gradually anouncing presenters for the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards via their twitter page. So far presenters for the ceremony are as follows: Jada Pinkett Smith, Bruce Willis, LL Cool J, Scarlett Johnsson, Robert Pattinson, and Jennifer Lopez. Additionally, Matt Damon will present Robert De Niro with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
