Barnes and Noble Bookstores has announced their initial lineup of special events and performers for November 2008.

The Hourglass and The Poisoned Pen played for four weeks in Chicago last July. During the run it received great reviews in The Reader, The Sun-Times and The Tribune. However, of all these reviews, one blogger caught our attention for his quirky and entertaining take on our production.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that The Roundabout Theatre Company will be presenting a reading of the new Broadway-bound musical BONNIE & CLYDE on February 9, 2009. The show features a book by Ivan Menchell, music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, direction by Jeff Calhoun and musical direction by John McDaniel.

Giovanni Spina had a passion to entertain since his preschool days, where he often could be found singing and dancing in the living rooms of his friends and family. This progressed to performing in school plays and musicals and soon he was attending, you guessed it, a performing arts high school. He succeeded in expanding his talents and decided to pursue his passion further by auditioning for the theatre program at the prestigious Ryerson University in Toronto. He was just about ready to begin theatre classes at Ryerson, where he beat out 2,000 aspiring actors for a spot in the program when he got the call about an audition for a small role in a little something called…Camp Rock.

International best selling author and lecturer Marianne Willamson is confirmed to take part in the WELL-BEING @ROSS event. Also, the hilarious Greg Giraldo joins the COMEDY @ROSS lineup. Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group will provide food for all the events except Andre Agassi Foundation benefit.

Tony Award-winning star of Hairspray, Marissa Jaret Winokur, will be one of the contestants this season on 'Dancing with the Stars.'
