The annual spectacular pantomime at the King's Theatre in Edinburgh has built a reputation for being one of the best in the country, and this year's production of Jack and the Beanstalk does not disappoint. From start to finish, it is a feast of laughter, music, colour and fun, and is sure to delight young and old alike.

With less than one month to go until the opening of Birmingham's favourite pantomime, Qdos Entertainment and Birmingham Hippodrome are delighted to announce that West End actress and singer DANIELLE HOPE will join JOHN BARROWMAN, STEVE MCFADDEN, THE KRANKIES, JODIE PRENGER and MATT SLACK in this year's magical, festive production of Dick Whittington from Mon 19 Dec 2016 - Sun 29 Jan 2017.

Today Wolverhampton Grand Theatre announced a brand new season, including the touring production of sell-out West End musical FUNNY GIRL.

Bill Kenwright presents the much loved musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES with JOHN PARTRIDGE as 'Albin' and ADRIAN ZMED as 'Georges', opening at New Oxford Theatre on Thursday 5th January before embarking on its first ever nationwide tour.

Based on real life events back in the roaring 1920s, nightclub singer Roxie Hart shoots her lover and along with cell block rival, double-murderess Velma Kelly, fights to keep from death row with the help of smooth talking lawyer, Billy Flynn.

Actress Hayley Tamaddon's numerous screen and stage credits include Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Spamalot and The Rocky Horror Show. She's currently starring as jazz-hot murderess Roxie Hart in the UK touring production of Kander and Ebb's Chicago, alongside John Partridge, Sophie Carmen-Jones and Jessie Wallace.

A nightclub singer, a double-murderess, a smooth-talking lawyer and a cell block of sin: Chicago comes to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, next month.

David Ian, producer of the international award-winning musical CHICAGO, has announced that platinum selling singer, Mica Paris, will star as 'Mama Morton' when the show plays Sunderland Empire from 28 November to 3 December 2016 and Birmingham's New Alexandra Theatre for the Christmas season, from 12 December to 31 December 2016.

Tony Maudsley (ITV1's Benidorm) will play Edna Turnblad when Hairspray returns to Edinburgh next year. He will be joined by TV and stage actress and presenter Claire Sweeney (Educating Rita, Guys and Dolls) as Velma Von Tussle, Olivier Award nominated actor and much-loved Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan (BBC1 Tumble) as Wilbur Turnblad and British singer and West End performer Brenda Edwards (Chicago, We Will Rock You, The X Factor) as Motormouth Maybelle. Freya Sutton will reprise the role of Tracy Turnblad alongside established musical theatre performer Jon Tsouras (A Chorus Line) who will play the role of Corny Collins. Dex Lee (The Scottsboro Boys) will play Seaweed, Ashley Gilmour (Miss Saigon) will play Link Larkin, Lauren Stroud (Wicked) will play Amber, Monique Young (Top Hat) will play Penny, Karis Jack (Urinetown) will play Little Inez, Adam Price (Hairspray) will play Male Authority Figure, Tracey Penn (Made in Dagenham) will play Female Authority Figure and Layton Williams (Bad Education, Billy Elliot) will play Duane. Further casting will be announced in due course.

Stars of theatre and screen take to the stage next month for this year's gilt-edged line-up of Qdos Entertainment pantomimes, 24 of which will come to life across the UK this winter.

Danielle Hope's debut album Bring The Future Faster was recorded at 54 Below in New York and has recently been released by Broadway Records. Shooting to stardom following her triumph in BBC's Over The Rainbow and successively becoming the West End's Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, ever since her feet haven't touched the ground once. Hope went on to star as Eponine in Les Miserables, the Narrator in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat and is currently touring the UK as Maria in The Sound of Music - all massive roles to have portrayed by the age of 23! She enjoyed a superb debut concert in London's Delfont Room in June last year which led onto her American solo debut heard on this recording.
