Photo Flash: First Look at Jessica Grové and Vicki Lewis in Music Circus' THE LITTLE MERMAID

Disney's The Little Mermaid, the hit Broadway musical based on the popular animated film, will have its West Coast premiere at Wells Fargo Pavilion for a two-week run from July 10 - 22. This Disney family favorite, part of the 2012 Music Circus season, features the popular songs 'Part of Your World,' 'Under the Sea,' and 'Kiss the Girl.' Tickets start at $30 for all performances, with specially-priced children's tickets available in any seating section.

Gettysburg State will present, I Am My Own Wife, the Pulitzer Prize-winning true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, a German transvestite who survived the horrors of Nazi Germany and Communist East Germany. Written by Doug Wright, directed by Rebecca O'Leary, and starring Eric Jones, I Am My Own Wife is a vivid portrait of a unique person that is at once intellectual, funny and poignant.

Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons celebrated its annual Spring Gala yesterday evening, June 11th at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled "The Highest Standard", the evening celebrated its five Pulitzer Prize-winning productions and honor the creators of these memorable works for the theater. The honorees were James Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George), Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park), Stephen Sondheim (Sunday in the Park with George), Alfred Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy), Wendy Wasserstein (The Heidi Chronicles) and Doug Wright (I Am My Own Wife). The ARSHT Center Announces New Season Of THEATER UP CLOSE

Now celebrating its seventh season, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County announced an extraordinary lineup of new and ongoing partnerships for the THEATER UP CLOSE 2012-2013 SEASON. This season features six incredible productions - such as the world premiere of Girls vs. Boys, a new rock musical; two Florida premieres including All New People and The Nutcracker; and a Miami premiere with The Savannah Disputation - from stellar local and national art organizations, all in the intimate Carnival Studio Theater in the Sanford and Dolores Ziff Ballet Opera House.

Gulfshore Playhouse announced the final show that will complete their 2012-2013 season: "I Am My Own Wife", the Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Doug Hughes. The Playhouse will present this play that the New York Times called "both moving and intellectually absorbing" January 18-Feb 3, 2013, with a preview performance on January 17th.
