Celebrating the release of his new book, HAM: Slices of a Life, (a collection of stories and essays - Simon & Schuster), Tony Award nominee Sam Harris will make his Feinstein's at the Nikko debut in a show of the same name on Friday, January 24 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 25 at 7 p.m. He calls the show a 'liter-usical' - a theatrical hybrid of excerpts from the book artfully interspersed with Broadway and pop songs. The Golden Girls: The Christmas Episodes -- 8th Annual All Drag Xmas Exdrag-a-ganza -- will feature all new episodes for 12 performances only this holiday season, today, Dec. 5 - 22, 2013, playing Thurs. Fri. & Sat. at 8:00 pm and Sun. at 7:00 pm at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco.

Billy Porter, this year's Tony Award-winner for Best Actor in a Musical, has extended his contract in Kinky Boots, producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today; Porter will remain with the show at least through July 2014. They also announced that Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde) will join the cast of the smash hit musical, taking over for Tory Ross on December 23, 2013.

Grammy and Tony Award Winner Cyndi Lauper will attend the Dreamality fundraiser to be held at The Cutting Room, at 44 E 32nd St NY, Tonight Monday December 2nd. Ms Lauper is expected to arrive between 7 and 8pm.

Kean University's Department of Theatre will host a Rock Musical Audition Workshop with actress Sheri Sanders, author of Rock the Audition: How to Prepare For and Get Cast in Rock Musicals, and Meg Zervoulis, music director for Kean's upcoming production of In The Heights, this Saturday, December 7th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The workshop will take place in the Little Theatre, located in Kean's University Center at 1000 Morris Avenue. Admission is $25.00 for the general public, and free for current Kean students with I.D. Those wishing to participate in (rather than observe) the master class are asked to prepare a 16-32 bar selection of a rock song in one of the following styles: Motown, '70s folk/rock, disco, '80s pop/rock, contemporary pop/rock, or "faeries" (Regina Spektor, Rufus Wainwright, etc.).

As a response to some nasty tweets in reaction to the Kinky Boots Macy's Thanksgiving Parade performance, stars Billy Porter and Stark Sands went shopping in between shows in their Finale costumes at Macy's for Black Friday.
