The Public Theater Announces Post-Show Discussions For LOVE’S LABOR’S LOST

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will present post-show discussions following select performances of the Public Lab production, LOVE'S LABOR'S LOST, directed by Karin Coonrod. The Public Lab Thursday Night Speaker Series for LOVE'S LABOR'S LOST will be held following the Thursday, October 27 and Thursday, November 3 performances and consist of engaging conversations with notable panelists. Tickets are $15 for all performances of LOVE'S LABOR'S LOST and include free admission to the post-show discussions.

Auditorium Theater Presents Beyond Brokeback: A Staged Reading with Music

On Sunday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m., the Auditorium Theater of Roosevelt University will present a screening of the award-winning landmark film Brokeback Mountain, followed by two events: a panel discussion with Chicago historian and film experts, and Beyond Brokeback, a staged reading of messages, essays, poetry, and music inspired by the film.

Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, now in its 25th Anniversary Season, announces a special appearance this Monday, October 17, at Sidetrack Chicago, 3349 N. Halsted, with Follies cast members Susan Moniz (Sally Durant Plummer) and Brent Barrett (Benjamin Stone). Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's Follies opened to rave reviews at Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Wednesday, October 12. Due to high ticker demand, the show has been extended by one week, through November 13, 2011.
