Court Theatre continues its 2008/09 season with SITI Company's Radio Macbeth adapted from the play by Shakespeare and co-directed by SITI Company Artistic Director Anne Bogart and Darron L. West. The production will run November 6, 2008 - December 7, 2008 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue. The press opening will be Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 8:00 p.m.

Artistic Director Charles Newell and Executive Director Dawn Helsing announce the addition of new performances dates for the Chicago Premiere production of Caroline, or Change by Tony Award-winner Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori, directed by Charles Newell. Today, the Jefferson Awards announced the 150 nominations in 35 categories for Chicago Equity theatrical productions which opened between August 1, 2007 and July 31, 2008. Beginning with this season, the Jeff Awards is acknowledging the work of Large and Midsize theatres in separate categories for productions and technical elements.

Court Theatre continues its 53rd season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical, Carousel, directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell with musical direction by Doug Peck. The co-production with Long Wharf Theatre runs March 6 - April 13, 2008, at Court Theatre (5535 S. Ellis Ave). The official press opening is Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 8PM.
