In an unprecedented move, the producers of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical have announced they are canceling the show's Sunday, October 11th performance so that the entire cast can join the National Equality March in Washington, D.C. The announcement was made this evening by the cast of HAIR at a spirited rally in Los Angeles (the entire company of HAIR has traveled from New York to California to appear on tonight's broadcast of 'The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien').

Cast members of the Broadway company of HAIR will join WING onstage for her Birdland Concerts. Andy Sandberg (Tony Award winning producer of Hair) and Jim Caruso's Cast Party will present WING at BIRDLAND, a limited, two-night engagement of this international recording and internet sensation at New York's premier concert venue. The HAIR Tribe is scheduled to take to the stage alongside WING to perform a rendition of the musical's most famous songs.

Producers Angelo Fraboni and Daryl Roth present the New York premiere of Vigil, written by Morris Panych and directed by Stephen DiMenna, began performances Sunday, September 20, at 3pm at the DR2 Theatre, 103 East 15 Street, east of Union Square.
