Adult film star and Penthouse Pet, Justine Joli, who plays the role of Caesonia, the wife of Caligula, in CALIGULA MAXIMUS, has been invited on the Opie and Anthony Show to perform a naked radio version of one of her scenes from the play.

CALIGULA MAXIMUS Extends Run Thru 4/10 at La MaMa’s Ellen Stewart Theatre

The Off Broadway production of Alfred Preisser and Randy Weiner's CALIGULA MAXIMUS, at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, will be extended for one additional week to meet audience demand. CALIGULA MAXIMUS begins previews at the Ellen Stewart Theatre, 66 E. 4th St, in New York on March 12th and has been extended through April 10th. Opening night is set for March 19th, with scheduled performances on Thursday and Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 8pm and 10pm.

The final performance is slated for February 14. Conceived, researched and written by Mr. De Shields, Mine Eyes is directed by Alfred Preisser, former Artistic Director, Classical Theatre of Harlem, where Mr. De Shields has frequently performed.

In honor of the 201st anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, the Working Theater is honored to exhibit important original historic documents penned by Abraham Lincoln and the great emancipator Frederick Douglass (portrayed by De Shields).
