The Americas and DIRECTV announce new agreement to launch Comedy Central, the comedy-driven general entertainment destination targeting the 25+ adult audiences, on DIRECTV's programming lineup beginning in January 2013. Robin Givens will play a marriage counselor to Alan (George Segal) and Elaine Robbins (Jessica Walter), Bowie and Ackles will play the respective love interests for Amy (Marissa Jaret Winokur) and David (Johnathan McClain), and Melissa Peterman will play a pleasantly kooky wedding planner. George Wyner will also return this season as Richard, Alan's best friend and often go-to man for advice on the ladies.
