Auditions will be held July 16th at 1:00pm

Auditions will consist of reading from the script. Audition sides will be available in the theater box office starting July 5.

A sinister con man and his cohorts have traced the location of a mysterious doll to the apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Not knowing that sewn inside are several grams of heroin, Sam had been persuaded by a strange woman to transport the doll across the border. When the woman is murdered, the situation becomes urgent. Through a cleverly constructed deception, the con man and his sidekicks convince Susy the police have implicated Sam in the murder, and the doll is evidence. Refusing to reveal its location, Susy realizes she is the victim of a bizarre charade. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues and, when darkness falls, she turns off all the lights leaving them to maneuver in the dark until the game ends.

Roles:

SUSY – Able to play 28. A blind woman matching wits with three con men in a game that becomes increasingly more dangerous.

SAM – Able to play 30–35. Susy’s husband

MIKE – Able to play 30–40. Con man. A small time criminal, willing to use violence but has a streak of good.

CARLINO – Able to play 35–50. Con man.

ROAT – Able to play 30–45. Pure evil. Tightly wound and even more tightly controlled

GLORIA – Age nine.

COPS 1 & 2 – Able to play 30-50.
