Old Library Theatre (OLT), Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theater company, announces auditions for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr.

Performances May 15-17. Journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr., adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above. But first she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.
Auditions will be held at the Fair Lawn Recreation Center, 10-10 20th Street in Fair Lawn, NJ on:
Wednesday, March 25, 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday, March 28, 10:00am-1:00pm
Those auditioning should be prepared and available for a possible call back Saturday, March 28.
Casting Ages 8-17.
All roles available.
Please note: There is no fee for auditioning. Youth performers who accept casting will be asked to submit a $100 participation fee.
Please prepare 32 bars of a song of your choice. Please bring a headshot and resume and be dressed to learn and perform a short dance combination which will be taught to you at the audition. Sides may also be provided on audition day.
In addition, if you are interested in a lead role, please be prepared to sing the following songs:
