NUNSENSE and AT HOME WITH THE CLARKS - Anchorage Community Theatre

Anchorage Community Theatre

Auditions for Nunsense and a Young Man for At Home with the Clarks.

ACT and our director for
At Home With the Clarks
, Nate Benson, will hold a last audition at ACT on this Saturday at 1 PM for an actor to play the young man in At Home with the Clarks. The role is for a 15 year old boy but we want to consider actors through college age. The play runs from March 8 - 31, and also will be performed at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference on May 21.
Contact Nate if you cannot make the audition time or have questions. This is the world premier of an amazing comedy by Rand Higbee, the author of The Head That Wouldn't Die. No preparation of material is necessary. You will be asked to read from the script of the play to be auditioned for, in dialogue with others.

Nunsense. ACT and our director for
Nunsense
, Don Gomes, will hold auditions at ACT on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 19 and 20, at 6 PM. The play runs from April 26 - May 19.
Contact Don if you cannot make these times or if you have questions. This is a wonderfully funny musical with five nuns. Musical theater and dance experience preferred; tap experience helpful. We'll teach it to all. Here are the roles:

Sister Mary Cardelia - Mezzo; 35-50
Sister Mary Hubert - Alto, gospel sound; 30-45
Sister Robert Anne - Alto/belt; 25-35
Sister Mary Amnesia - Soprano, 25-35
Sister Mary Leo - Soprano, 20-30; ballet skill

We also are looking for a piano accompanist for the show.
Please contact our director, Don Gomes, if you are interested.
