The Barn Theatre opens NON-EQUITY AUDITIONS for BOEING BOEING, a comedy/farce by Marc Camoletti
Auditions will be held on Sunday, Sept. 22nd, Monday, Sept. 23rd, & Tuesday, Sept. 24th.
Registration begins at 6:30 pm, and auditions will begin at 7:00 pm.
SHOW RUNS FROM NOVEMBER 7th to NOVEMBER 24th
This farce set in the 60's revolves around Bernard, a charismatic bachelor who has three airline stewardesses, all engaged to him without knowing each other. When unexpected schedule changes bring all three to town at the same time, things get very bumpy. And when his friend Robert forgets which lies to tell to whom, catastrophe looms .
Director Jeanette Mazzella will be casting the following characters
Bernard..............a bachelor living in Paris(25 to 50 ish),
Robert.................a friend of Bernard's(25 to 50 ish),
Janet.................. an American stewardess(25 to 50 ish),
Jacqueline......... a French stewardess(25 to 50 ish),
Judith..................a German stewardess(25 to 50 ish),
Bertha..................Bernard's housekeeper(40 to 70 ish).
Side scripts will be provided and you will be doing cold readings. French accent for Jacqueline and German accent for Judith, not required, but can be helpful.
