Breakdown

Seeking:

MAURICE
70s; He owns and lives upstairs in the house where the play takes place. Newly widowed. Childless, but raised Tommy, his nephew, in this house.

AIMEE
Late 20s; Well-worn for someone so young. She is separated from her young daughter by social services and lives on and off with her erstwhile pimp boyfriend. Beaten up and beaten by life.

DOC
40s; Long time friend and work-partner of Tommy’s. He lives with his sister and sometimes in Tommy’s van. He is simple, but far from stupid. He is prone to be a victim of violence and has prophetic dreams.

KENNETH
30s; Aimee’s ex-boyfriend. He has been living with her and her mother. He is volatile and dangerous.
