REVEREND PARRIS
Male, Mid 30’s-Mid 40’s, Person of Color. The fire and brimstone minister. A Harvard graduate who is desperate for respect and a sense of security. Parris is paranoid and power-hungry, though oddly self-pitying. He is concerned with building his position in the community.

REVEREND HALE
Male, 30’s, Caucasian or Person of Color. A compassionate clergyman who takes his work very seriously. Hale is highly intelligent with a critical mind. He is earnest and wants very much to do the right thing.
