Please prepare a brief contemporary monologue, and be prepared the read from the script (provided at the audition). Visually-impaired performers may request an advance copy of sides when making an audition appointment.
Please bring a resume & a picture (of yourself), stapled back-to-back.
Theatre states that all roles in both productions are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted).

Woman, 42. Beautiful, intelligent. A scientist.
Voltaire:
Man, 54. Emilie's lover. Playwright and scientist-wannabe.
Saint-Lambert:
Emilie's handsome younger lover. Actor also plays Lewis.
Olivia:
42. Modern professional woman. Scientist. Actress also plays Wet Nurse.
Millie:
Modern 21-year-old woman. Italian descent. Actress also plays Pauline.
Peter:
44. Olivia's husband. Actor also plays Monsieur Du Chatelet.
Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker. Dir: Steve Perigard. 1st reh: 3/21/11. Runs 4/15-5/22.
Marty:
Woman, 55. Instructor of the class and co-executive director of the community center. Free-spirited artist. Married to James. Wants to connect with and inspire her students.
James:
Man, 56. Marty's husband. Economics professor at the local community college. Former hippie who refused to “join the system” on the day of his bar exam.
Schultz:
Man, 48. Recently divorced carpenter who wants, more than anything, to be liked. Creates and paints artistic chairs. His desperate desire to escape his loneliness leads him into a relationship with Theresa.
Theresa:
Female, 35. Failed actress who has recently moved from NYC to Vermont to study massage therapy. Theresa is sad, but considers herself a Lover of Life. Tries hard not to enjoy how much men are drawn to her.
Lauren:
Female, 16. Awkward, introverted high-school student with a gift for saying exactly the wrong thing. Wants adults to like her, but will go to great lengths to make it seem like she doesn't care.
