FREDRIK EGERMAN: 40s- 60. Successful, still dashing, middle-aged lawyer. Married to his second wife, Anne. Has a son, Henrik, from his first marriage.
Vocal range: A2 – E4. Baritone.
COUNT CARL-MAGNUS MALCOLM: 35- 50. Vain, arrogant, and splendidly proportioned but ferociously jealous. A military dragoon. Desiree’s newest lover.
Vocal range: G3 – F?4. Baritone.
MRS. NORDSTROM: Female. 35- 50. Vocal Range: Ab3- E6. Soprano. Should have a High E. She is one of the Liebeslieder singers, who are a group of five singers that act as a Greek chorus.
