Chris Miller’s upbringing in the Lone Star State has given him a unique sound. His passion and true artisanship shows in each exciting live performance. Miller’s talent for honest, straightforward storytelling combined with the art of mixing country, blues, honky-tonk, rhythm and blues, even melodic pop, in to an unforgettable blend of true music, true talent, and true life. Each song and performance shows his understanding of what music can do for the soul. Their new CD Release, “I Feel Fine” is receiving critical acclaim throughout Texas and the Southwest. A first rate CD!" (5 stars) Each member of the Chris Miller Band brings something different to the table musically. On Bass and harmony vocals, Chris Pruet brings 17 years experience in Country and Rock genre’s, adding his own dose of Texas Rock n Roll rhythm to the band. Ken Sommerhalter, on drums, completes the line up hailing from the UNT School of Music adding his solid beat and experiences from recording studios and bands across North Texas. Each performance of the Chris Miller Band is drenched in energy, soul and pure Texas Honky Tonk. The band’s tour schedule has been intensive with a recent stop in Florida, courtesy of Philip Morris, and their placement in the national “One Band One Land” promotion. They also traveled to the US Virgin Islands, courtesy of Heineken Light for the introduction of the brand to the islands.
