Broadway's Margot Stevenson Dies at 98

According to the Ny Times, Broadway actress Margot Stevenson passed away in her Manhattan home on Sunday, January 2. She was 98 years old. Stevenson is survived by her daughter, Margot Avery.

Stevenson made her Broadway debut in Firebird back in 1932. Her other Broadway credits include: You Can't Take It With You, The Barretts of Wimpole Street, The Rugged Path, Truly Valiant, Stage Door, and Hostile Witness. She is perhaps best known for her role as Margo Lane in the radio adaptation of "The Shadow", opposite Orson Welles.

Stevenson starred as Lady Macduff in HallMark Hall of Fame's Macbeth in 1954. She also appeared in such films as: How to Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days, Going in Style, Rabbit, Run, The Brotherhood, Valley of the Dolls, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Flight Angels, and many more.
