National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces the World Premiere of its 2012-13 Annual Commission, Harbur Gate by Kathleen Cahill, at Core Member Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). The Commission, which was awarded to Ms. Cahill in collaboration with Salt Lake Acting Company, will receive its first professional production from February 8-March 12.

 The Sandy Bennett Art Gallery at the Bergen Performing Arts Center located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey hosts Expressionist Art: Majestic Exhibition, a solo exhibition of mixed media paintings by Julio Borges. The art exhibit is in residence at The Sandy Bennett Art Gallery on the 2nd floor of the bergenPAC from February 4-26, 2017. The gallery is open to the general public during box office hours Mon-Fri 11AM - 6PM and Saturday 12PM to 4PM and available to patrons of scheduled performances. There is a free reception open to the public on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 6PM-8PM.

Framing their new show, Two Guys and a Grand (last Wednesday night at the Laurie Beechman Theatre), in the kind of friendly antagonism and winking shtick popular during vaudeville, the two very different performers manage to be both broad and classy.
